Hi, I'm Tess! ...

I love playing with my dog Mitzi, spending as much time as possible on the beach in the summer, dancing in my kitchen, watching old movies, anything Jane Austen listening to history podcasts, old family photos and decorating for holidays.

I was born and raised in the Philly suburbs and I am still based here. But never fear, I’m just a hop, skip and not even a jump from NYC.

Some of my favorite credits include, Jovie in Elf at the Grand Theatre. Shrek Jr. and Alice in Wonderland Jr. at the Walnut Street Theatre, Sweet Charity, Into the Woods, Mamma Mia and Big Fish at Candlelight Dinner Theatre, Wizard of Oz at Ocean City Theatre Company, Mary Poppins at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman. If you want to know more, go check out my resume!

In addition to performing, I work as a teaching artist! I’ve taught at the Walnut Street Theatre, Music Theatre Philly and I am also on staff for Wissahickon High School’s Musical Theatre Program. I have taught a variety of age groups and styles. I teach jazz, tap and musical theatre dance and performance to kids pre-k through high-school.

When I’m not performing or teaching, I love baking and am a semi professional custom cookie and cake artist. I’ve created sweet treats for numerous themed events and celebrations. From afternoon tea to Harry Potter to Rainbow Unicorns, the possibilities are endless.

I have my B.F.A in Musical Theatre from the University of the Arts (magna cum laude) in Philadelphia. I continue to train with Innovative Voice Studio under the Direction of Jenna Pastuszek and Tim Russel as well as with Jen Waldman Studio.
